Hello September, Good bye U.S.

I will hopefully be able to get online as much as possible this month. However, tomorrow at 6 AM we leave for a three week trip to see friends and family overseas. We will spend tomorrow in D.C. getting from National Airport to Dulles. We have about six hours to make the trip....!
Fly overnight to Frankfurt, stay overnight with SIL and BIL, fly next day to Ankara, Turkey, My DH is an RPCV (returned Peace Corps volunteer.) The first Peace Corps volunteers arrived in Ankara 50 years ago, Sept. 6th. There is going to be a commemoration of the event involving the Turkish government and the U.S. Embassy. A couple days later we are going to visit the village where my DH served. It is located in the Taurus Mountains and has a population of about 2000. We have been back twice, once 8 years ago and another time 5 years ago. We are so looking forward to seeing these friends.
Then back to Germany for about 5 days. Our dear nephew lost his wife to cancer in May and has two girls ages 6 and 8. We want to spend some time with them. Talked with SIL this AM and we may take the girls to a horse back riding therapy spot.
Then back to D.C. to spend time with DS, DIL and DGS. Grandson is now playing football... just started middle school... and we will get to see a game. In addition our DS had got tickets for a Nationals baseball game. It will be a great time and I suspect I need to start packing. I hope to hop into Spark as often as I can.
