This goes out to all you people who are walking and texting, at the same time, or worse driving and texting. While driving and texting is far more dangerous, and can end up taking lives, causing delays, and destroying property, walking and texting is just as dangerous. A while ago there was an article about a guy who was walking and texting and walked right onto a subway tracks. Fortunately for him no trains were coming. I've seen people texting walk right out into traffic not even looking, and keep walking blissfully away. Either that or they run into you say sorry and walk on. Look away from the phone people and at the real world. Theres life out here, and your're missing it. And yes I do have a cell phone, but I don't text and walk.

Got all my goals done yestarday, and stayed under the 2000 calorie mark. I went to the Fair and had all that fair food. I also did a lot of walking.

My goals for Sunday are:

15 minutes of writing
15 minutes of reading
15 minutes of housework
10 minutes of strength training
30 minutes of cardio
staying within my calorie range of 1230 to 1580 calories
spending at least 30 minutes on Spark people tracking my food and exercise.

I'm with you on the texting. And can we add earbuds and headphones to the list. I listen to music while I walk, but only in 1 ear. I keep the other ear for awareness. And if you call, email or send me a text and I don't respond right away....well I was involved in something else, and just gave you a chance to miss me a little!

I can't believe you made it through a fair and stayed under 2000 calories!!! Way to go!

Love your Sunday goals! Have a great one!
