August Goal Results

Another month in 2012 has flown by. I start my fall classes in a week.

I did really well the first part of August, but the last week of August was really bad.

During August I completed the Summer 8 Week 5% challenge. I finished second for the highest percentage lost for the Casual Travelers team. And I was the last Traveler standing. Meaning I lost weight every week for 8 weeks (even while on vacation in July). However, I fear I have put all the weight back on this past week and it was all for nothing.

But I am not going to focus on this one bad week. NO, because aside from this really bad week, I accomplished the majority of my goals for the month of August!



Month Goals
*Perfect Attendance Award for August - I will receive, I have logged in everyday this month
*Reach Level 11 (currently about 850 from level 10) - reached level 11 this morning, so I made it from level 9 to level 11 during the month = 2952 Spark Points in August
*Complete 1500 fitness minutes - passed even with no fitness minutes for the last 5 days = 1589 Fitness Minutes in August
*Complete Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred (fourth attempt, WILL DO IT!! Started Day 1 this morning) - I did not meet this goal. Got to about halfway, 15 days, allergies and then got sick last week. No excuses though, not happy I didn't make it. But it is not like I didn't work out at all. Just didn't get up at 4 am every day.
*Loss 5 lbs by Labor Day (CW 140 lbs) - did not meet, gained and not about to weight myself right now.
*Portion my breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the work week on Sundays - did this every week except for last Sunday. This was not a stellar week. But three out of four is better than the other way around.

Daily Goals
*Get at least 100 spark points a day = 2952 / 31 = 95 points a day, pretty close :o)
*Drink 12 glasses of water a day = three out of four weeks
*Eat 5+ fruits and veggies a day = three out of four weeks
*Stick to what I packed to eat at work (no stress vending machine eating) - three out of four weeks
*Get up everyday and do 30DS = 15 days
*Get to gym during lunch and do 15 mins cardio and 15 sculpting) = three out of four weeks
*Walk a minimum of 3000 steps while at work each day = three out of four weeks

So yes, I was not perfect, yes I had a really bad last week of August. But looking at the big picture

And September starts tomorrow. An all new month to work on a healthier me.
