Well, I'm getting closer to my goal weight, but it seems kind of like one of those things that you've been working towards for so long but it seems like you'll never get there!
My puppy is now much more grown up and she is such a good girl we can do my morning walks at my speed! She gives me no excuse for skipping a walk in the morning as if I don't take her out she's likely to chew the house, dig the garden or yard, or do some other random thing whist I'm at work! So she s responsible for getting me on the pavement every morning which s great!
I think I'm walking at least 5km each day, which is busting my goal of 20km per week big time! This week I've already done 36km! Hoorah!
More of my clothes are loose on me now and I have a growing pile of clothes to alter so they stay on! Plus I get to wear outfits that have been sat in my drawers or closet for years not worn! That is very satisfying! So are all the comments from people telling me how good I look, and asking how much weight have I lost? That really boosts my spirit.
But the road is not yet at an end, and to be honest, when I hit the end, I know it wil just narrow slightly into a track, as getting to my goal weight doesn't mean I can lose focus! Gotta then stay where I want to be, and maintain that level of exercise and healthy living! On at note, might just get up and walk the dog on this fine Saturday morning!
