THE ENERGY OF THE BLUE MOON!!

Friday, August 31, 2012

Is today the day you'll get started? Is today the day you'll get your "SPARK" BACK? These are questions I've been asking myself this morning. I know that the Blue Moon carries more energy than we are use to and with that we can use it either negatively or positively. I choose the latter. I SHALL be using this energy to help me give my journey to health a much needed boost. A kick in the pants, so to speak.

My light has NOT gone out, but has been barely a tiny, little spark. So small in fact, with one gush, it could have been drowned out, but it's a strong "SPARK". It keeps burning and fighting it's way to keep glowing. Today, with help from the Blue Moon, the winds of change, fanning it, I see and feel it growing stronger.

One of my friends recently posted a comment, SHE is one helping to fan that Spark. As long as I continue to keep her comment in the foreground of my psyche whenever I get the urge, the temptation, to indulge in anything that may not be in my best interest, I shall be able to conquer and win the challenge.

She wrote, "When you're faced with a decision - should/could I eat those twinkies? - ask yourself, 'Is this choice going to make me feel better about myself?'"

So far, yesterday was fairly successful. Today will be even MORE successful, all I have to do is to use the energy of this Blue Moon and keep Brenda's words ringing in my ears.

Thanks Brenda, for your help with my struggles, you ARE an inspiration!!

I agree wholeheartedly, Ruby! AND I believe you can have treats (sweet or whatever), make them modest and/or healthy but delicious choices...and still stay within range. If a bit over, it can be made up with a slight increase in fitness or decrease in cals/carbs the following couple days.

Above all, I do not believe in guilt, in putting yourself down, in negative thinking.

I encourage your spark, honey...fan the flame.

Now, I just gotta get this message to myself! emoticon

I really focused on the blue moon on the 31st of August 2012. I started feeling my energy changing more around the 28th and put it in gear. I started a new me and a new attitude. I can really feel the winds of change. This is a real positive change for me after 2 years of negative energy getting into my space. So excited.

Ruby so nice to hear you are working harder to turn that SPARK into a flame again. When I joined our team you were the flame that kept it going and I watched as it faded and tried to help you get it back but you, like the rest of us, found life getting in the way. It's so hard sometimes to S.S.T. !!!! But I see your SPARK has been ignited and I am so happy to see the glow of your flame again !!!

    Welcome Back Ruby !!!

emoticon no so have a carrot just as portable as the twinkie and twice as tasty.

Keep going Mrs. Ruby. We all lose our way but sometimes the spark leads us right back to our path. You can do this.
