Discouraged

So, when I weighed myself, I'm noticing that the scale is going in the WRONG direction!! How can this be??? I'm not over eating, nor am I eating things that I shouldn't be eating. I just can't help but feel overwhelmed and sad.

After everything I went through to have this surgery, and then to recover from it; it's heart breaking to me that I am gaining weight.

I see the MD on Tuesday, and I plan to talk to them about it, and find out what I need to do. On a good note. I have started tracking all of my food, to see how much calories/protein that I am taking in. Hopefully this well help.

    Don't be discouraged I know how you feel it is real hard when you do not loose but I think to myself my body is changing and it needs to catch up with weight loss something that I did that has helped me alot was I took a picture of myself from the front and from the side and I put the pictures in a journal that I write in and I took my measurements and I journal often so that when I am feeling discouraged I look back from where I was and to where I am now and it usually helps me I have decided to do the picture and the measurements every 20 lbs that I lose and I journal almost every day to check where I am emotionally and I have found it quite rewarding to look back on it. Tracking your food is a wonderful idea I do the same thing and It really helps me.

    don't get discouraged!

    sometimes our bodies need a little time to catch up. There will be weeks you lose, weeks you gain, and weeks when you just don't do anything.

    Tracking food is a wonderful idea. You won't be anywhere near your recommended ranges, but it will give you a great idea of where you need to be.

    You can do it!!

    you will be fine. Every body is different, you will have a better idea after tracking, are you able to exercise yet? . Protein is tops but also keep your calcium high.. Good luck & positive thoughts = positive outcome

    Don't let yourself be consumed by the negative thoughts or beat yourself up to much cause that just makes everything worse. Keep your head up you will figure it out and get back on track!
