Learning to Breathe...

I read a book that I found very inspiring. It prompted me to rekindle some dormant interests. The book was Learning to Breathe: My Yearlong quest to Bring Calm to my Life" by Priscilla Warner. She explored things such as Yoga, Meditation, Buddhism (especially mindfulness), psychotherapy, EMDR, Somatic Experience, and many more things. It was incredibly interesting (couldn't put it down.) On SP yesterday, a dvd of QiGong was blogged about by Stepfanie I think, and I read up on the healing powers of that, so I ordered a dvd and am looking forward to trying that along with meditation, and possibly yoga. I really liked many of the principles the author wrote about and it inspired me. I joined the SP team "Meditation and Mindfulness" and have even considered a day-long workshop in these areas.
