347 Days to Goal: Fit and Fabulous by 50!!!

have had an interesting ten days or so. i was doing well with exercise until i fell off my bike on the way to the gym. skinned my knee pretty bad. i have had to let it heal all week. i am hoping to be in shape for total toning class tuesday morning. really hoping to make it to yoga tuesday evening!

i have received a job offer at cvs pharmacy. i intend to take the job. unfortunately it has taken more than a week for my background check to come in. it has to come in before i can do orientation and training. please pray that it would arrive early in the week.

calorie intake has been sporadic. some days i haven't felt like eating anything and other days i have eaten in excess of 2000 calories!

still have not gotten back into a good routine with spreading the spark, posting etc...i am guessing life will get into a better routine once i am working.

oh...i have also been recommended for another job as a live in caregiver to a semi-local couple. will keep you posted...

    Two job offers is awesome esp. with the way this ecomony is.

    You will get back on track. Ouch about the knee I hope it is much better at this time.

    I am praying that you get the job you want. Sorry to hear abou the injury and I know you will get back up, dust yourself off and keep on going. It sure seems to take forever for injuries to heal when you are trying to do exercise and eat healthy, it just gets in the way too much.

    One thing you can try is exercises in a chair. Coach Nichol has a couple of them. You don't get much cardio out of them, but they are designed to keep your muscles going and toned and also keeping you from wasting away with the time.

    Wow sorry about your bike spill - I've lived that before and have the scars to prove it. Take it easy. I'm the queen of understanding doing only upper body cardio for a few months...so consider to some upper body until the knees etc are ready.

    My best comment is don't worry about blogs and posts while life if up in the air rather commit to food and exercise logging only....when that is in line your 365 goal will happen. The rest is just to keep your mind in the game.

    Congrats on the job and yes may that clearance come through tomorrow, I'm on the prayers for this right now!

    It sounds like you have alot going on. I will pray for your needs you mentioned. I find when I am out of a regular routine, my eating goes haywire. SO hopefully you can get it back soon. emoticon
