Forethought on Four Weeks
Saturday, August 25, 2012
As I pass through my fourth week from restart I can praise myself for some major positive achievements.
Total inches lost (hips, legs, arms, waist, chest and neck): 7
Total lbs lost: 13.5
Average caloric intake from 1985 to 1380
Average daily exercise from 30 minutes to 90 minutes
Average sleep from 6 hours to almost 8 hours (bed times nearer that of my children)
The euphoria of the initial stages of calorie reduction is over. Now the real work begins. This morning, as I have for the past several mornings, I awoke hungry. With belly rumbling, I recognize this situation as a very positive step towards achieving balance as I am burning fat during sleep.
To further my day in a positive way, I did start my “two-a-days” this morning and my return to positive self-talk. I can say my outlook is happy and somewhat carefree. This latter condition is the one gathering my attention. In the past, when this carefree effervescence springs through my mind, I tend to relax my guard and restrictions. Knowing is the start of the skirmish, having several options is the second. I will continue along my journal to a better me, a happier me, a more confident me. Thanks Sparkers for all the support.
