First Blog Entry!!!

Saturday, August 25, 2012

Hi :) I joined Sparkpeople a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE it so far. I did the 14 day free trial of SparkCoach and decided today to get a paid membership. I find that it's been helping me start my day off right and stay on track.

This is my first blog entry and today on SparkCoach, my action step is to list some meal ideas. Here's what I've got in mind...

- Tortilla, lettuce, salsa, 1/2 c. beans w/ taco seasoning
- Quinoa, beans, and broccoli
- Morningstar veggie crumbles, manwich sauce, rye bread, vegetable
- Boca burger, bun, ketchup, vegetable

I'll have to come up with some more, but those seem pretty well rounded. I tend to have smaller meals like this because I like to have 3 snacks during the day as well.

Congrats on your first blog post, and for the commitment you're making to feeling better about yourself! I saw your post on the SparkCoach intro page, and I struggle with a lot of the same eating issues that it sounds like you do. So I just wanted to say hi and that I hope your day is going well! We can do it, girl!

Take good care, and have a good Monday!

I love blogging. I strongly encourage you to consider! Blogging is a great way to interact with other members, track your thoughts, feelings, and challenges, and just share your triumphs and travails. I try my best to blog every day, even when I'm not having a good day. The support I get from my Sparkfriends helps SO much!

Congrats on your first blog post, and the start of your journey! It is SO worth the effort involved! Don't panic when you have a bad day - it will happen, but it is NOT the end of the world when it does. You're starting with plans, and that is always a good way to get right back at it when one day goes south. Good luck and you CAN do it!!
