Sometimes, it seems as though I have to drag my bum to drag my butt.
As I sit here and prepare to log in my food, I am nodding off in my chair. Being a Friday, I worked today, putting out books at a local supercenter, which is a fair bit of exercise. That was the finish of a long, hard week, at least compared to usual, but it seemed like I had to slog through the whole week.
I did manage to squeeze in a new, if small, type of workout - bought a long, medium resistance band and did some of the SparkPeople videos. With my spinal disease, it's hard to find exercise that doesn't hurt, and this I can do! It's a start. Coupled with my part time job, I get some good strength training in.
I am hoping that as I drop some weight and regain some fitness, that cardio will become easier and I can figure out something that I wil be able to do without pain and that I will continue to do. For me, cardio is not and never has been a fun activity, so it's not easy to find something I will stick with.
Meanwhile, I am so glad it's Friday! I can try to sleep a bit more in the morning and maybe take a short nap tomorrow afternoon. Maybe the Mayor (my nickname for the hubby) will let me relax for a change. Ya think? lol
