This weeks updates:
We got some new mixes for our cardio classes. Finally got a mix with 'sexy and I know it'. was super pumped. broke it out right away in my kick boxing class this week. Super intense class, what a great sweat.
I attempted a 15 mile run on wednesday and succeeded. I wish I was running a bit faster but I'm not going to stress about it. I'm happy to have the miles and I know the pace will come with time.
My boss asked if I would be willing to film a yoga demo to help promote our group fitness classes. It's really exciting to be asked to do something like this. She said she really wants to show off my yoga style and hopefully create some hype for my new power class. Hopefully filming it today so we can get it up before the freshmen move in. Being that it's just going on the gym's page it's not an insanely huge deal, but it's still pretty cool that out of all our instructors she trusts me enough to ask me to do it. I might end up doing a kick boxing one as well.
on the progress side of things, I haven't seen an insane amount of progress on the scale however I can tell there has been more progress than the scale would have me believe. So far I've lost about 1/2 an inch on the butt and 1/4 inch on each thigh (haven't measured anything else yet). It may not sound like much but considering I'm not insanely huge to begin with it's some decent progress, it's already made quite a difference in the way my clothes fit. if anything at least it means I'm on the right track =]
