Bad/Good Sparker

I have not added a blog in quite a while...haven't been sure what to write...and also had been a bit dissappointed in myself for a while.

I had let myself backslide some for a couple of months or so. Gained about 15 pounds...its funny how easy it was :) I also slacked off on logging my food, which was the main thing that helped me so much in losing weight. Also, I gave up the gym and running and, in general, was not exercising near enough.

Okay...enough of that trash!

The past few weeks have been used for straightening myself out:

1.) have shed (re-shed, actually) the re-gained pounds, and am back close to my lowest weight since joining Sparkpeople.

2.) My wife and I have decided on, and stuck to, a mostly veggie/fish diet.

3.) I am back regularly walking and have re-started running (up to 10 minute intervals)....I am planning on another 5k in the Fall).

4.) Logging onto Sparkpeople daily....have not been very social, but getting back into it. Tracking my food & exercise.

5.) I decided to close down the Sparkteam I had started (North Central Florida). The interest had waned, and only a couple members visited regularly (I think many teams are like this). I thought my time would be better spent getting myself back on track, rather than doing much with the SparkTeam. May try again later...if I can think of an interesting concept (any ideas?)

Anyway...feeling better, clothes fitting again, more pleased with myself & my efforts...looking forward to continuing success!
