Lemon water diet?

Tuesday, August 21, 2012

So yesterday I decided to cut up a couple lemons that I had in the fridge and I took my gallon pitcher and squeezed them in there, then dropped the lemons them selfs and then filled it with water and placed it in the fridge. A couple hours later or so, I got me a glass and I fell in love with it. I had one glass before supper, and one with supper. I don't know if the lemon water helped me from eating a lot, but I didn't go back for seconds, which is rare for me I have been known to go back for seconds and thirds and some later so there isn't any left overs. After supper I had one or two more glasses of the lemon water and I had lots of energy. But, sadly, I didn't get a chance to use the energy for exercise. I googled lemon water last night and what I read said hot water and lemon, but for this exact second, I'm keeping mine cold.
Have any of you tried the lemon water diet? What's your thoughts and what not?

I googled it too and that's not the version that I've been doing. They have one that is just hot water and lemon. But I have been just drinking cold water and lemon and I did it for 2 or 3 days, and I noticed a big change in myself.

I have done what is called the Lemonade Diet, you can google it if you want. It has Pure Maple syrup and cayenne pepper in it too. You only drink that and nothing else for 10 days. It really clears out your intestines.

Don't know if I would do it as a 'diet', but sounds like a refreshing drink on these hot summer days.

I haven't heard of it. Just be careful with anything that claims it is a "diet". If you like lemon water, I say "drink up!"; however, I would couple it with a healthy eating. Good luck!
