Yay for a bit of a loss!

Just wanted to report I weighed in at 141.9 this morning--2.7 pounds gone in the first week! I have noticed that my weight fluctuates pretty wildly every morning, though, leading me to believe it's due to crazy water retention. I'm still debating what to do on that front, but at least I'm happy to see the scale moving at all!! This weekend I thought I had done so well and was so confused yesterday when I wasn't posting any loss at all. Oh, well.

Today the plan is to stick with the healthy eating and small portions, which should be fairly OK since I have a ton of meetings today and won't be tempted to dash off for a snack! I'm also trying to think good thoughts and do things I enjoy after work because I've been quite down lately. I hope you're all having a wonderful week!
