Cardio Streak Day 475
2.30 mile walk /jog
Ughhh, today was my turn-around day. After leaving the office last night at 2300hrs, I walked back in the door at 0550hrs this morning. That effectively gives me a little over a four hour "nap" for the night. It's probably not enough, but Lord knows I've done that many times in my life so I should be used to it by now, eh? (I guess partying really shouldn't count, though?)
Yesterday I emailed one of the Virtual Walk/Jog team members and asked is she had been entering mileage lately. As it turns out, the program we're using has not counted the last 323.8 miles that she's accululated.
The good news is that we're a lot farther than the map shows us to be. The bad news is that I'm going to have to make corrections to the existing points over the last couple of months. I'm not looking forward to manually determining daily progress for each team member and then changing the existing daily points, but I've decided to do it that way.
I'll go ahead today and make a new entry for today's mileage plus the 323.8 known miles we're missing. The map will look really funny but I'll begin amending each point along the way as I can.
Today I *did* do the walk, however in another 25 days I will take the turn-around day as a day of rest. I'm looking forward to bringing the cardio streak to a successful close at day 500 because I will get to sleep a little longer on days like this!!
For strength yesterday, I did the upper body: Bench Press 10x15, Crunch 10x25, Tricep dips 10x12, bicep curls 10x12, forward stretch 10x60 seconds, and standing quad stretch 10x15 seconds.
I have yet to find an easy or comfortable way to do quad stretches.
I'll work on lower body today.
The virtual team remains in Kansas but shows a significant gain over yesterday's spot.
