And here is why I hate blogging

Friday, August 17, 2012

I had a terrific blog almost completed about pounds vs. dress sizes (along with the moment in time when all the forces in the universe line up and you find the perfect dress, and realize it is on clearance, and you have a gift card in your purse (that you have forgotten about since christmas) that will pay for it) It had everything: humor (me fighting to zip a dress that has a side zip,) tragedy (when I realize that my apple-like shape is never going to change,) drama (I can't find pants that match the great blouse,) intrigue (who really thinks a plus-size woman is going to wear THAT) and the soul-lifting climax (the perfect dress!)

I was almost done and about to type that 33 pounds equals two dress sizes (at least for me) when I hit a random key.
And my blog vanished.
Gone. Only the title remained, looking rather lonely up there by itself.
I could never re-create it.
So instead, you got this. emoticon

Ha! Blogging is a pain, innit? I find I can't help but check, check, and re-check it for both spelling and flow once I finish, and yep, I've experienced the disappearing hiccup, as well.

Great to hear from you and see you're doing wonderfully :-p

I've done that I time or two myself. I have no idea what keys I hit to make it happen, but it always seems to be when you have written something over the top.

    Enjoyed your blog anyway!!
