I set out thinking I'd do 5 miles maybe 10 if I was feeling good. I ran across a friend on the trails early on and we ran about a mile and a half together. I don't know what got into me but after that short period with her I knew today would be a 13.1 day. It was pretty slow compared to where I used to be but hey, I did it and it was awesome.
This was the first half marathon distance I've ran since my knee injury in april 2011. 9 months of PT and 7 more months of struggling but it's all worth it to finally be running distance again. I wasn't sure if I'd make it back to a point where I could run over 10 miles without being in pain, I can't tell you how happy I am.
Hosted my first yoga rave last night. It was incredible! I'm hoping to have some pictures to post for you guys later on, I'll talk about it more then.
