Living alone and loving it - goal to fill my refrigerator with Spark appropriate food.

So after going on some errands I drove up to my favorite nearby U-pick farm.

First filled my large basket with lot of fresh produce - hint if there are a few bug chews on the leaves it means it is organic and nutritious!

Then you rinse everything off well and use a sharp kitchen scissor to separate root vegetables from leaves, trim and clean off old leaves, weeds...

Important step, cover all with very cool water and let soak for about 15 minutes.

Shake off water and do one last inspection for any extra protein hitchhikers. Arrange on platters.

Cover well and place at eat level for easy nibbling, Two flavored waters chilling - one lemon and one rhubarb, with lime close at hand to look eye appealing. Almond milk, organic yogurt and thawed OJ (to also add into water quickly - or to add natural sweetness to stir fries) / Eggs for protein - beans, lentils, peanut butter and whey powder are in the cupboard. Bottom right hand side Are things to add to salads instead of dressing - pickles, olives, pickles grape leaves and artichoke hearts in olive oil (I use the oil as a more flavor boost instead of regular olive oil) Unseen in the freezer are breads, berries, ahi and salmon, pre cooked lentils, pre chopped onions/carrots/celery/greens, ice cubes of berries/whey smoothies, and pre made sandwich patties (chef megs chicken salad and tuna with celery, red peppers, almond slices, grapes and greek yogurt binder)

Tomorrow small Costco shopping trip for fresh fruit and greek yogurt. Set for another week.
