End of Week

Made it through the week. Lost 2 pounds, which is really good considering I am on the lower end of my journey. I know the closer I get the harder it is going to be and the slower it will go. I just can't give up and have to ensure that I at least maintain. I know it is a lifestyle change, which is why I have totally changed how my family eats whether they wanted to or not. It is no longer me cooking my food separate from the family. Now, everyone eats the same thing. I just eat smaller portions since I am a small woman and they are all men. I only cook so we have just enough for meals. I no longer make sure we have extra. I am trying to teach them proper portions. The boys are 20 and 16. I know they can read a package and see what a portion is but seeing and actually ensuring they are only eating one serving is something different. I used to cook 2 boxes of mac and cheese for the four of us and there would be no left overs. Now I cook mac and cheese maybe once a month since it is so fattening. Now, I only cook one box to ensure they are only eating one serving. Yes, they are saying I am starving them but they need to learn how to eat and snack proper and healthy.
