LAALI: Chap. 2.4 - Police and drama

Ok this was a day that didn't fit under Living and alone and loving it - all goals were erased.

My house was broken into. While I was in the shower around 7:30am the dogs went crazy. I got out and they were barking at the basement door. I went down and found a box that had random things in it with jewellery out on the floor...the back door was open. Just Sunday two of my neighbors were broken into.

The police came. Later on news reported, because a similar MO was happening in Redmond last Thursday Friday and then in Woodinville today...all placed around me.

I'd had my breakfast this morning, but ever since I can't eat and have been sucking on ginger to keep my stomach calm.

OK this is a day when I would love to have my husband come home and hold me in his arms.

Isn't my life drama enough without days like this??? Shopping never happened, my great early start got side stepped. I'm completely exhausted.

    OH SWEETIE. I am so so sorry. Are you OK???? I am so thankful there were dogs in the house with you--to warn you AND to WARM you as only a pup can do... I am sorry the hubs is not there to hold you too... I know that feeling all too well.

    Hey, KGWinder!

    I am so very sorry that happened!! I had a similar situation at home alone and a man was in my garage stealing things. He took off on my $ mountain bike, never to be found again. I know how you feel because my door to my house was open, and I realized that it could have been much worse.

    It's not fun dealing with this, and it's a process! I grew up in an era where you could leave your doors to your house and car unlocked and no one would ever bother anything ever!

    Just take really good care of yourself and hang in there, it will get better! emoticon
