August update

Thursday, August 09, 2012

It has been awhile since I've updated and thought it was time.. even if there isn't much to say. I've been staying on track for the most part, but yet can feel myself once again going through the motions. It seems as if I go through this every so often, I am doing my exercise, eating okay... but most definitely room for improvement. The scale is showing it as well. I have lost but at a very sloooow rate. Much slower than I'd like, but I feel like I am doing my best at the time, so it is what it is...

I haven't ran as much as I'd like due to the heat. I have been a bit more lazy on getting to Curves and Zumba. I've eaten out more than I should, have not counted days that I should have counted, and have been more free to my eating habits than I should have... that has to stop now. August needs to be a good loss month for me. I am hovering around 207-209 and need to break through under 200. It is like a block wall for me and I can't seem to get around it.

I have started running again and need to be more consistent with it..put it back on my schedule instead of just 'whenever'. I need to find a fall 5k and work to run the whole thing again and beat my 41:04 time. My goal for is to be at 164 by the end of the year for a total of 100 pound weight loss.. going to be a hard goal but certainly reachable.

As for my finances, I am doing very well. Car was paid off in June, large balance credit card paid off in July. August will focus on birthday party, Brie's ear surgery, and back to school shopping. Sept and October will be spent paying off the remaining $1200 in debt. October/November/December will for the cruise and Christmas. Everything is falling right in place and I am loving when it does!!
