I've been AWOL, missed me? The last month of being home, trying to see friends, eating out, saying good-bye, etc., were all just too much for me to deal with, and I decided that while I was still going to pay attention to what I ate, I was not going to track or blog or make myself crazy about what I was eating. So I let it slide, not in an "I'm-on-a-rollercoaster-with-n
o-breaks" kinda way, but still sliding.
Luckily, most of the things that I really want when I am home in the summer are pretty healthy; there was more than one meal of corn on the cob and tomatoes, and I did try to limit my meals out to one a day. Still, I did not lose any weight at all this summer, which is a little frustrating, even though I know exactly why I am still the same weight as I was in May.
But now I am back. I've got a fridge full of veggies, and I made a pot of lentils, so I have healthy, low-calorie food to take to work. I bought a scale while I was home, so I can now weight more regularly, without relying on the scale in the locker room at school, and I have some cool new yoga videos to work out to.
