Reboot 5.0: Day #5
Tuesday, August 07, 2012
Well, my 5-day 're-entry' effort is ending with a bit more of a whimper than a bang....but it's all good! It is a great reminder that getting back on track is not that hard, and that even a little bit of effort can go a long way toward restoring healthy habits and feeling good.
My weight popped back up a bit this a.m., but no biggie - overall, down 2 lbs is 5 days with really no effort aside from saying no to alcohol and extraneous, unhealthy snacks.
I didn't get my fitness in all 5 days (treadmill access is still an issue), but everything else fell into place easily and didn't feel hard or restrictive. I will likely coast at this level (with maybe a few more limits on my eats) until the end of August. I will happily stay within striking distance of maintenance mid-range (which I tag at 113 lbs), and ready myself for a big fitness push in September.
Reflecting on 5.1 - more to follow!
* Drink 9-12 cups of water per day 5/5
* No alcohol - 4/5
* No snacking 4/5
* 30-60 minutes of brisk walking 3/5
* Not much extra fitness aside from a few planks
