Sweat much?

So, today at the gym, I wasn't able to get the machine I wanted. It was an all cardio day and I really wish I could have made more out of it but I had to use what was available. I wanted to do 45 minutes on the elliptical but ended up doing 7 min. on the emoticon at 10mph and then 20 min on the emoticon at 3.0-3.5mph. So, something is better than nothing. Tomorrow is a ST day, so it'll be 10-15min of cardio and then all strength. My time was also shortened since I forgot to bring a lunch to work and had to stop at the cafe before hand to get a sandwich. They close very early and I like to work out later in the day, it makes the rest of the day go by quicker. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get more of a burn. I hope to be able to get on the elliptical for my cardio session so I can really break a sweat.

    The next time you need to up the sweat factor - put the incline up to 15 and slow it down a bit and turn around and walk backwards with 7 pound weights in your hands - each time you take a step back with the opposite hand push out like you are pushing away from an invisible wall - you'll never look at a treadmill the same way again! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
