Getting a little help makes all the difference.

In my last blog entry I said I had 10 weeks to get ready for my son's wedding. I had changed my diet - started to eat clean and was going to call a trainerto see if he would take me on as a client. I called and he did, and juggling both of our schedules we only had about 5 weeks together. But during that time he not only worked me hard but changed and monitored my diet and let me have access to him pretty much 24/7.
I really didn't believe I would see any great change, because I have let myself down so many times, but thought I would give it a shot. What a difference having a trainer makes!!!! The wedding has come and gone and even with that short amount of time, people were commenting on how toned I looked.
Fueled by this success, I asked him to keep me on and have set a new goal for myself....achieving the weight that is on my weight watchers lifetime membership card.
. Really, it's not so much the number that means so much to me, it is just something to work towards. Every day I see a difference in how my body looks and how my clothes fit. I'm slipping into things that I haven't worn in ages and I'm starting to feel my core getting stronger.
Even though I am already getting comments, I'm excited to know that I am just at the starting line. For the first time I really believe that I will succeed because I have someone to be strong when I am not.
I live in a very small town that has a gym but no trainers. I stumbled upon this guy by good fortune and am so glad that I did. If you are struggling, consider getting some help. You can go out to dinner or buy yourself a big screen T.V. but neither will give you the satisfaction that a lean, strong body will. It is worth every penny! I am loving this!
