M.I.T.M. #58 ????? Jogging Back to School

Finally got some rain! It was still sprinkling when I headed to the track, no lightening or wind. When I got to the track there were workmen digging up the infield. The track had some kind of tractor on it. I headed to the park and decided to run one of the cross-country miles. for whatever reason I choose the mile that was half on the asphalt and the other half off road.
I warmed up by doing 2 minutes of knee-highs, and lunges (hate lunges!!). Then I jogged. I guess I was thinking in reverse, because I started easy on the pavement, but when I got on the off-road half, I gradually picked up the pace. This half was fairly flat. I finished this mile in 10:31.
I was exhausted! Maybe I pushed myself too hard because after I got home, I sat down to watch the Olympics and the next thing I knew my wife was waking me up--2 hours later.

Back to school in 10 days!
