Back on the wagon.

Sunday, August 05, 2012

I never completely fell off. I was just hanging on for dear life to the tailgate while life drug me through the mud. Ok, so that seems a bit over-dramatic. Especially since nothing tragic happened this summer. I just wasn't trying this summer. Apparently I need the structure of a routine and as soon as that structure is gone (along with my easy-access workout area), my best intentions go out the window. Luckily the school stuff starts up again this week for me. (Nothing like having to start 2 weeks before the students.) I want to get back on a comfy seat in the wagon instead of giving myself hand cramps by trying to stay on. (It's easier on the nails too...)

With this in mind, I am setting my next mini-goal as getting to 257 by Christmas. That should be fairly easy to obtain since that's approximately 25 pounds in 20 weeks. At 257 I will have lost 75 pounds and be down to a weight I haven't seen since about my third year in college. So we're looking at 10-ish years. I WILL get there, one step at a time.

Spark on my friends!

New starts, fresh enthusiasm, positive attitude, getting in early before the rush, you can't lose. Your goal by Christmas sounds obtainable enough; full steam ahead.
