Change IS a good thing

Sunday, August 05, 2012

A lot of people are scared of change and I am one of them. But I need to look at it in a different light. Change is a scary thing but when you do it for good reasons it should be exciting.

Yesterday my aunt and I were talking about things that we need to change. We started a list and plan to finish it later today. I would like to start at it slow. Right now we have 11 things to change. Starting out with the simple ones first will make it a lot easier for me to stick with it.

Here is what we have so far:

Less being negative
Less TV
Less fast food
Less Grocery shopping (we go like 3 times a week because of my grams)

More being positive
More art / being creative
More healthy foods
More outings
More cleaning up after self (mainly for my aunt)
More girlieness (Doing our nails, facials, make up when leaving the house, etc)
More gym/exercise

A way to help me cut back on the TV is to work on my writing. I’ve finally got a lot of things to work with so I hope to have a rough draft of one of the books by the end of the year.

If we stay focused and think only positive thoughts then we should be able to follow through with whatever we put our minds too.

It's funny...I just made a list similiar to this one. I'm trying to take more time for me, therefore I have to make some serious changes.
