Does anyone keep track of the miles they walk weekly?

I have been tracking the miles I walk on a calendar. These are the miles I exercise. I don't want any confusion. I have mentioned walking with a pedometer, which I am also doing however mine does not convert to miles. I also only keeping track of the steps.
I looked back over the back 3 weeks and see that I have walk just over 16 miles each week. I've been trying to walk 6 days a week and then give myself a day of rest. I'd like to add strength training 3 days a week however I haven't gotten that far yet. The thought's there, I will get to it.
