cheated on south beach diet.

i could not go without pasta, bread, potatoes, or fruit this past week. so i cheated a little. so i guess i'm really not on the diet anymore. i'm going to try the curves weight management plan and see if that works. i hope this works. it sucks being overweight and having nothing that helps. i don't have enough money for the preplanned meals like nutrisystem. it is way to expensive. i did pretty good yesterday with my calories. proud of myself. still exercising at curves. i should start walking this coming week. maybe i'll lose more. well that is all for now.

I have tried every diet on the planet. What you need is moderation. lean protein, vegetables, fruit and you can have pasta. when I am told I can not have something it seems I crave it more. Track food and exercise. Putting nutritional food into your mouth is your choice. Realize you can not lose weight in a month. It is a long term commitment and you will not always be perfect. No one is. You have to forgive yourself and be more moderate so it fits into your life not the other way around. emoticon I added exercise first and then became clean with my food. emoticon

South Beach's Phase 1 (which I assume you were on because you mentioned no fruit) is only 2 weeks. I also see that you were on and later dropped weight watchers.

While it's very important to pick a plan that fits into your life, it's also important (and I'm trying to be gentle here) to stick with it for a bit to see if you have results.

Good luck - we're all pulling for you. emoticon
