August Meals (Day Three)

Today I had dinner at my parents, and we went to the Mill Race Folk Festival in Cambridge.
I won peach jam from Allison Lupton, one of the singers there. She was using the lure of free homemade jam (made with peaches from her garden) to get the crowd to sing along to her self-confessed 'corny' song about the love of gardening. I ended up winning. :) At the end of the song, she asked all the 'best singers' to come on up to the stage. Well, I'm not the best, but I wanted that jam, so I headed up to the stage. I was the *only* one brave (or silly!) enough to go to the front of the stage. To the brave (and silly!) go the spoils, and now I have special homemade peach jam. I want to try it on the sunflower seed butter I got yesterday.
