July Recap and August Goals

Friday, August 03, 2012

emoticon I stayed with the Gluten, Dairy, Egg Free this month. For whatever reason it was much easier this time around. But after 1 month, I am getting bored and I find myself craving for a PB &J Sandwich or a cookie. I just want to eat normal food. So I went back and printed out a few recipes that aren't that bad and now I just have to will myself to make them. So 2 more months but I'm thinking about extending the elimination diet until the first of the year to get me through the holidays with gaining weight. We will see.

emoticon For the month of July I lost 2.6lbs. I know not that much but little by little these little losses are starting to add up. Since I started back after having Nate I've lost 23.6lbs. I'm back to prepregnancy weight actually a little under BUT my body doesn't look the same even though my measurements are also just about pre-preggo. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to adjust my goal. Granted I'm working toward goal #2, which is 6.2lbs away, and then reassess. Well I've reassessed now emoticon and I will be pushing toward goal #3 (150lbs) and also toward achieving a bodyfat of 20%. I will probably get my redo when I reach 160lbs (goal #2).

Currently I'm participating in an SAC challenge that lasts for 5 weeks and I'm really liking it. I forgot how competitive I can be. I totally don't want to let the team down so I'm doing my best to do all of the challenges and be the best player on the team. It's going ok. I'm having an issue staying within my calories range. I seem to on most days be over my 100-200 calories or as little as 15 calories. So it does vary.

And now

I need to learn how to do the side-by-side photos.

August Goals:
Get new recipes that work in my elimination diet
Lose 4lbs
Drink water
Increase veggies
Work in new exercises. I want to start Spinning again.

The kids are doing great. The bid news is that Lillian is wearing underwear and she does really well at daycare. I few accidents every now and again. The only thing is that we haven't gone out for the day with her in underwear. Just to church and she still did great. Well this weekend will be the test. A 3 hr car ride and a BBQ. I'm not that brave to have her ride 3hrs in the car so she will be wearing a pull-up. At the BBQ, we will start out in underwear and if it becomes an issue I'll just use the pull-up. I have enough of them.
