Day 2 Cleanse

I made it through day 1 nicely. I had a bit of a headache from no caffeine but it passed with the help of some tylenol, I decided to cut out gluten free pasta from a lot of my cleanse as I feel I've been eating too much of it. Last night, I learned how much food it takes for me to be satisfied. I have been eating too much. I had a 1/2 baked potato (it was a huge potato so 1/2 was about the size of a small one) with some walnuts, hummus, and fresh green peas for dinner and I felt much better than when I'd eat a bowl of gf pasts with Daiya cheese. So my plan is to have some Daiya cheese as a garnish (Its the only dairy free, casein free cheese I know of and its good) and leave the pasta alone. I'll be branching out and trying some new vegan recipes.

Today I had a Tofu scramble for breakfast. For lunch I plan to have the other half of the baked potato dressed out with some flax, hummus. a small amount of Daiya cheese and some fresh peas and a peach for dessert. Dinner not planned yet but thinking of a large vegetable salad. I'll be paying attention to my hunger clues to decide when to eat.

Had some cravings today. I wanted something chocolate and a margarita. The cravings didn't last too long, I was impressed with that.

For fun today, Hal and I are going to the lake for some fun in the sun. I may bring my camera too.
