Accepting the fact that on occasion there will be things out of my control.

In my previous attempt at a healthy lifestyle here at Spark, I would "freak" out when things didn't go as planned. You know what I'm talking about, the well planned day that didn't turn out as planned. Dealing with the unexpected things that pop up that derail you from your schedule.
Today I had such a day, we found ourselves having to buy a new car which took much longer than I expected. Therefore lunch was spent at the dealership test driving, negotiating price and doing paperwork. In the past I would have "freaked" out that I didn't have the perfect day, that I didn't meet my nutritional goals and I didn't get my exercise in while Michael was at school.
Today, I'm taking it in stride. It's ok I didn't meet my nutritional goals, it's ok I didn't get my exercise in. One day is not going to matter in the grand scheme of things. One day doesn't make or break my achieving a healthy lifestyle. Today was just a blip in time, in a lifetime of healthy.
