Door County day three

Hey big news!! I dropped another size and now fit into a size large shirt! This is huge for me, it makes me feel soooo good. I started out as a 2XL and now am a L! Let me start the story from the beginning, today we went to Fish Creek and we went to my dad's favorite store, On Deck Clothing Store. The store has a sale section downstairs with great prices and my dad likes to buy his shirts there. Anyway, when my dad was trying on shirts I wandered over to the women's section. I tried on a few XL sizes, and they were cute, but not exactly right. I went back to the sales rack and was admiring the Large sizes wishing I could wear them, and I thought, why not try them on? I did, and they Fit! The first one I tried on was a little tight, but it fit and the third one I tried on was just right. My dad bought me the blue shirt that fit just right.

After going clothes shopping we went to get coffee at Luna, a new coffee house that my dad discovered, because his old favorite one had closed. The coffee store is connected with the clothes store that I mentioned yesterday that is interested in my jewelry. I went in and handed her my business card. I had a small Iced skim vanilla chai late. It was really good and just hit the spot. We then went next door to the handmade chocolate store and I got a mint chocolate covered oreo and saved it until after lunch.

After we finished up in Fish Creek we went to lunch in Egg Harbor. We went to a cute little place called the village cafe I believe. I ordered a soup and sandwich combo, the sandwich was an egg sandwich and I expected to get a half sandwich but they gave me a whole one. I only ate half of the sandwich. yay go me. the soup was a cup of chili, it was a little spicy for me, so I only had about half of it as well. I also had a side of fuit. We then went to a cool thrift store, but I didn't find anything. Then we drove back to Sister Bay, and went to pick up a few things at Piggly Wiggly. I didn't feel like going back to the lodge, so I elected to stay behind at the settlement shops and walk back. I went to a few stores. There is a cool thrift/clothing store there that was having a 50% off sale. I ended up getting 3 cute shirts for $19.52. After that I walked back to the lodge and here I am now.

Tonight we are going out to the English Inn. It looks like a cool restaurant, we have reservations for quarter to seven. I have a dining guide to Door County that has menus for various restaurants and their menu is there. I will plan out what I will eat out tonight. Right now am going to check out the fitness center and work out.

UPDATE: I just walked on the treadmill for 25min, 2.1 pace 5% incline Woo Hoo! I'm so glad I worked out I am exhausted and sweating. I will shower now, get changed and then we are going out to eat.

You are really doing good. I like your discipline. Eating less ,trying to workout while on vacation. This is hard to do,especially when your are on vacation and having fun. Trememdous. Me and my family went biking the last two days. We went 18 miles round trip on a bike trail. I thought about you and your bicycling. Keep up the good work.

We might have crossed paths yesterday! I live in Door County and was on my way to Green Bay last evening. I'm glad you're having fun; I don't always take the time to do the fun things the county has to offer!

Am living in NYC now, but growing up my family went to Door County every summer. Don't know if the Wagon Trail is still there, but that was a lot of fun. I also remember renting bikes and biking backroads forever. Hope you have a lovely vacation! Am proud of you for planning your menu and being careful eating out. I'm sure you have a fish boil in your future if you're up on the peninsula. Cheers!
