So Much Progress

Sunday, July 29, 2012

Well first of all, we finally have the internet back. I can blog daily if I want, not just when I get to visit my relatives or the library. That being said I haven't been keeping up to date with the blogs.
I have done absolutely amazing lately. I am on track to complete all my marathon training. The problems that I had was I was good for the first four weeks of the program, but then when the real mileage starts to kick in I kind of get intimidated. But I'm here to say I did it. I just finished my 10 mile run yesterday, kicked its butt and I have finally bloke through the mental blocks. As far as the number on the scale, I would say it 100% does not reflect my success. Thank goodness I take measurements, because I have lost about 2-3 inches off my waist, hips ects.. I was so upset two weeks ago when I wasn't losing any pounds, and then I took out the measuring tape and ta da!
I honestly feel like a new person again, a few months ago I was so low, so depressed, so disgusted and just not doing anything about it. My honest to goodness cure for depression and everything is running. In addition to the physical aspects, I have really cleaned up my diet. I will not eat anything that has been processed and I have been drinking a lot of green machines or green goodnesses, I really need to get a juicer already. long run this Saturday will be 11 miles! Marathon is Oct 7! Half marathon is two weeks prior!

What a fantastic positive blog. You inspire me. Maybe I'll have to put my treadmill back down and start couch25K again. Keep up the hard work!
