..."Events boss refused to pay dying cancer mum a penny after she won unfair dismissal claim"

I don't really want to say too much about this here as it makes me angry, very angry...and sad...but the more people know about men like this, the better.

I'm so sorry for your loss and for the injustice shown your aunt! Regardless of whether or not your cousins see any of that money, I'm certain what goesa round comes around.... and he won't like his comeuppance.

Totally jerk or what! Living overseas one sees a lot of injustices and there are so many that you can do very little to make right.

Maybe there should be a tube campaign like that war criminal and maybe the shame will finally make him do the right thing.

I am sorry for your loss. This is terrible. She was indeed a brave woman returning to work four weeks after surgery. She was a mother and fiance' . It is a shame when people do not care about other people. Shameful.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's so frustrating when people act deplorably, especially when there is nothing that you can do to make it better.

Incandescent with rage!!! My partner was sacked after nine year's service the first time he was too sick to work and provided a doctor's note to prove it. This is in France and the court case comes up in October. Some employers treat their workers like machines, when they don't work 100% they throw them out. Despicable apologies for human beings. Thanks for sharing this - not much I can do to publicise this in France, but I hope everyone in the area gets to know about this and the guy's business goes belly up.
