A long way to go but I am happy with progress.

Have been contemplating for a long time if the weighing scale is an enemy. I kept hoping the measuring tape would be on my side. Some days I just keep reading what others write about on Spark and get so inspired. I keep thinking wow, they have lost a whole lot of pounds. I always feel so jealous of everyone's success.

When I read SUPERACHIEVER's blog today, I began to go back and think of my workouts. Consistency and small changes are key.

I saw Nat (NATPLUMMER's) post, encouraging me that I can reach my goal for the June wedding I was supposed to go to. I still have lots of weight to lose but I just realized tonight that because of being accountable for workouts, food, and because of Spark, there have been changes in me that I can see, not on the weighing scale or the measuring tape, but with the pictures. I enrolled in Spark on Dec. 30, 2010 but only began working out in May 2011.

I am inspired by MOM22MS' consistency. So many people in Spark are so inspiring.

When I took progress pics this 2012 I got frustrated that there weren't much change as I hoped then thought of reviewing my older pictures.

In this other one, I felt like my boobs were sagging in one of the pics.

Here are some of my pictures (not to scare people who read this blog) but just to show that progress is seen and not necessarily measured.

I still have lots to lose but now I have gained confidence in myself. I shop more and certainly looking forward to formal occasions.
