Ok...so it's been quite a while since I blogged on this site. Since my last post I've lost another 6.2 lbs and I'm currently sitting at 176 lbs. My goal is still 163 by the end of September and 155 by the end of October. My current BMI is 25.3 (although I don't put a lot of stock in the BMI calculation). What's even better is that my blood pressure which, back in February when I started, was 125/79 (which classified me as "pre-hypertensive") is now down to 109/74.
My knee is getting better and I'm running again on it (though not as diligently as I was before). I am, however, starting to ride my bike again and plan on going for a ride this afternoon - probably about 8 to 10 miles - nothing big. Overall I'm making good progress.
