I did it again!

Corner-to-corner and then some! I ran just under half of my walk with my dog! My lungs feel fine, but my muscles feel like they're going to rebel and beat me senseless. Does that sound like I need more strength training to anyone else? Because, what I'm feeling seems to me that I need to work a whole lot harder on my strength so I can actually tax my cardio system.

This is so backwards from when I was in the Army. I used to max my strength tests and barely scrape by/flat out fail my run.

Tonight I have Wii Fit Plus on the docket for strength training. I {SHOULD} have done it while my DD#3 was down for a nap. Trying to do yoga and strength exercises becomes interesting when a 14 month old wants to join you.

    I don't run very often, but I get the same thing when I do spin class. My lungs are great, but my quads are killing me. I've been uping the weight on my lunges and squats hoping that will help.

    I started doing weights because I do pretty well with cardio. However, I try not to kick my butt too hard.

    My greatest joy is being able to run after my son without having knee pain. Speak of my son, here he comes!
