Just read a health article on the benefits of smiling - umm, no wonder I'm not so healthy. I rarely smile anymore, not sure why -- probably directly relates to not looking in mirrors too often also. But I am far more optimistic than I used to be so I think I need to really work on the smiling thing. As I type this, I am smiling and I will try to make an effort to smile even when I just have my own thoughts in my head. Smile at people, smile in traffic, smile when just sitting or reading. I got this - I am pretty sure it doesn't hurt to smile so think I'll make it a goal to smile as often as possible this week and see what changes occur in my life! emoticon

    That's a great plan that you have there. And there are no calories in a smile. How's that song go... when you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you. When you've got the smile down, move it up notch and enjoy a good laugh. There are also great health benefits from laughter. I've recently learned to laugh at myself. I am a hoot or so I think I am. emoticon
