Trying To Focus

Monday, July 23, 2012

Wow, December since my last post, funny thing about that, I've been stuck bouncing through the same weight range since then, and it is starting to get really really old and frustrating. I've been stuck between 174-180 for the past seven or eight months now, usually holding around 176. I thought for sure with summer coming it would be great and being out and moving even more I would have an advantage, but man have I been wrong. Between the heat being killer this year and having a hard time being able to acutally be outside to do something really physical and two boys that have so much energy and just want to go go go, I've been still stuck, and I'm ready to break free, but how? I guess my best way to try and break free again and finally get that scale moving again is to outline some steps for myself. Most come from lack of time, and getting distracted with my kids, love them, and spending so much time with them, but I have to get my food logged, that's one of my biggest downfalls right now.

1. Log foods daily
2. Drink my water (make a post-it check off)
3. 1300 calories from scheduled workouts
4. the other 700 calories either from workouts or misc activities
5. Vitamins daily
6. Keep ready to eat fruit in fridge

The things I need to focus on most are 1,2 and 6. Do this and hopefully we can get moving again. I would love to break below 170 and stay there by November.

You sound like you have a plan. You can do it! The logging of your food and the drinking of the water are important first steps.
