Relay for Life

Just came home from an emotional walk and luminary ceremony from my local Relay for Life. During the name ceremony I stood behind a survivor and her family. I was very touch by the emotion and strength they showed as she cried and her family comforted her. It made me think of my Papa who lost his battle with cancer 21 years ago. I miss him everyday...when I was a child he was my best friend. Tonight I walked for his memory and for all those who won, still battling and who have lost their battle with cancer. To all who have been tocuhed with cancer in someway I pray your strength and sorrows. Tonight was emotional but knowing Papa was with me makes it all the better.
