Tuesday July 17th - Been a While since last blog

It's been a while since my last entry. Things are still progressing nicely. Should eclipse 30# lost next week, which will be huge. I am right on track with my goal of 60 by mid-October. Then the last 30-40 through the winter.

I can feel I'm getting stronger every time I work out. Last Saturday I ran at 5.5 mph for 30 minutes without a break, which I can honestly say I don't think I've run that amount of time without stopping since I was in high school.

Today Donna had me doing things between the bike and TM and I feel ok doing 8.5 mph for the 20:10 drill. I also felt comfortable at 6.5mph at 5 deg. for the 30:30 drill.

Oh, forgot one thing, a couple weeks ago my left knee started to feel swollen and a weird sensation on the left side of it. I had it checked at OI and Dr. said everything looks ok, just that I have loose joints(go figure), but did give me a cortisone shot for swelling. That was kinda weird. It still feels a little different, but I'm able to continue my workouts.
