being indulgent...

Monday, July 16, 2012 know you're on holidays when....
I literally rolled over and went back to sleep this morning when my husband got up to go to work (I've been getting up with him and either cycling or working out to an exercise DVD).
When I finally got up I lasted about 2 hours and then crawled back into bed.
I felt like I do when my iron levels are rock bottom low. ~But I shouldn't be feeling like that. You see I just underwent a week of iron infusion therapy to boost my levels. (ugh I.V. iron....)
Well I went with it today and just let myself sleep.
Problem being that this afternoon when I woke up again I was feeling completely out of sorts with myself. Zero accomplished and a beautiful day ignored.
Tonight I waited for the temperature to begin to cool off and then cycled into town and met my husband at an agreed location. I knocked 10 minutes off of my time! Doing something physical has helped my mood shift...but I have a feeling that I won't be going to bed very early tonight....

Who knows why you were extra tired? If you were actually sleeping and not just lazing in bed, you must have really needed the sleep. If it persists, then have your doctor check you out; otherwise, enjoy the rest and then get back to work when you're refreshed!

Sometimes we just need a lil extra sleep. Me, I'm a morning person. I like the extra moments of daytime that are the quiet of the morning! This morning I got up and felt groggy, not my usual feeling. We all have our moments, I guess! Glad you were able to knock out some on your minutes with riding. A feeling of accomplishment is always good. emoticon emoticon

I agree sleep was probably what your body needed and emoticon on the biking.

Hey--if you were that tired, then you needed the sleep! Good for you to ride the bike but don't be mad at yourself for being tired. Sometimes you need to listen to your body!!
