first 5K - pre-race jitters?

I am scheduled to run my first 5K tomorrow morning. And up until yesterday I was so excited!! Now, I find myself wondering if I am ready.
What if I can't make it in the new terrain?
What if I haven't trained well enough?
What if I don't eat the right things for breakfast and I run out of steam only half way through?
And what if I come in last?
I am terrified of being last.
I know that someone has to be last. And I know that a few weeks ago, I couldn't even run 100 yards at a time, so even if I am last, just knowing that I finished is an accomplishment, but I really don't want to be last.

    Don't be scared! Races are so much fun! The motivation from all the supporters will keep you going strong! You will have more energy than you think. I have done many races myself. Just think of it as you are on your morning run with hundreds of friends with you! (don't know how big the race is) Just start out slow because it is easy to get caught up in the excitement & start off to fast. Even if you have to slow down to a walk it's ok. You are getting your workout for the day. I usually eat a breakfast bar or a small bowl of cereal before a race. Something small not to much. You will have a great time! Then you will be hooked like many of us runners! Just enjoy yourself. You will also get info on upcoming races & little goodies in your race packet. Lots of luck to you & have fun!     You can do it! Just go at a pace that is comfortable for you! I never thought I could do it and I did and have signed up for 2 more. I went running this morning and it is humid, as I am sure you know! Don't worry about who is in first or last. Know you are accomplishing something by trying it! You can do it!!!!
