My husband has joined me on the quest to live a healthier life. Yay!

Somehow this quest now also includes running another half marathon. LOL. Apparently DH wants to do something "big" and have a "bigger goal" than just losing weight. So... on Sunday we signed up for the Tinkerbell Half Marathon. EEk!

Our team name is "Tripping with Style" because we're not actually running, ya know. We're just tripping with style. emoticon

If you guys remember, the last time I ran this one, I did it after not training for a month due to a concussion and cracked ribs. This time training (and racing) should go a lot more smoothly.

So, we're working our way through Couch to 5K so that DH can get some miles under his belt. We should be done with that around the end of August - just in time for the 10k on the Bay (we'll be doing the 5k run/walk). Then we'll go with Bridge to 10K training and finish that just in time for the Livermore Grape Stomp in October. From then on it'll be full steam ahead when it comes to training for the Half. emoticon emoticon
