The Injury Fairy is out to get me

I think it's out to get me and make sure I never become strong and fit.

I try to dance at 17: issues with hypermobility begin.

I try to run in college: shin splints and more hypermobility.

I try to keep dancing: college classes scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights interspersed with back problems and sprained ankles.

I try to start weight training: back goes out again.

I get lots of physical therapy and my back heals: I get sick and the back goes out again.

More maintenance of hypermobility, and I start swimming and doing bodyweight training: college classes scheduled during open pool hours.

And today, my back is solid, it's been over 5 months since I've had an adjustment, I plan to start running at the end of this semester, bodyweight program is going again after being sick and/or studying for exams for weeks, and what do I do? I sprain my ankle.

From now on I'm only exercising in the dead of night and I'm not telling ANYONE. Clearly, it knows where to find me, and it won't allow me to become fit enough to run away and hide effectively.
