still weak from being sick

well I was sick for about a month, first with a cold, then maybe a day of dehydration, then some nasty stomach bug.
I actually went to the hospital a couple times cus drinking water made me nauseous. I am improving now, not nauseous anymore. but because I was off food for over 2 weeks my stomach has shrunk quite a bit. I'm not eating enough and I definitely lost a lot of my strength over that time.
I'm slowly easing back into food, I can handle most things in small amounts though I haven't tried dairy yet.
My lunch today was a peanut butter sandwich, I had 3 bites and I felt uncomfortably full lol. its almost 1/4 of the sandwich which is almost but not quite half a slice of bread plus the peanut butter. I'm taking it really slow. once 3 bites doesn't make me uncomfortably full anymore ill try 4 bites lol.
I have lost a total of 44 lbs while being sick, I met and passed my first goal of 375 over that time. I'm eating less than 1000 calories a day, sometimes less than 500. its an improvement though. I imagine its going to take a while, like 2-3 weeks minimum to get back to normal.
I have set my next goal at 350, currently 372, and now that I'm eating small amounts I'm not losing quite so fast lol. This isn't the way I wanted to do it but I'm pretty sure I couldn't gain back all the weight I lost even I were able to eat normally right now lol.
The doctor wants to run another test though in case there's something with my stomach like an ulcer or something maybe lol. I have already had xrays, an ultrasound and a ct scan. he wants an upper GI series, I just hope I can drink enough of the contrast liquid as I can't drink lots at one time either.
I am slowly getting back to work, I've been here 3 hours today and I'm hoping for 5 though I'm getting tired so I may only do 4 or 4.5. and I can tell from 2 weeks in bed that I have lost a lot of strength, I feel it mostly in my core, my abs and back get sore from sitting for too long. and too long isnt long enough lol. the only thing that doesnt hurt is lying down which wont help me get the strength back lol. when I'm at home I tend to sit up on the couch and when I get tired I lie down for a bit but I can't do that at work. I know as I eat more too I'll get more energy.
I know I'm not getting enough nutrients too since I'm eating so little, so I picked up some gummy vitamins ^_^ for adults. I know they're not the best quality vitamins lol, but they do taste good and theyre better than nothing.
I'm just hoping it doesn't take too long before I can do a whole day at work as I've already missed over 2 weeks.
